کتب خانوں کی کمیابی اور مطالعہ کا فقدان

ایک  وقت تھا جب  کتب و رسائل پڑھنے کا رجحان کافی زیادہ تھا جو رفتہ رفتہ ناپید ہوتا چلا گیا۔ اس کا ذمہ دار ٹی وی یا کمپیوٹر کو دیں یا کسی اور چیز کو اس کا سبب بیان کریں مگر حقیقت تو یہ ہے کہ من حیث القوم ہم نے کتب بینی سے منہ موڑ لیا ہے۔ انٹرنیٹ اور ویب کو بھی ہم معلومات کے حصول کے لیے انتہائی کم اور دیگر تفریحی مشاغل کے لیے زیادہ استعمال کرتے ہیں۔

مجھے اپنا بچپن یاد ہے جب ہم "ماہنامہ نونہال" کے دیوانے تھے اور پورا مہینہ اسکا انتظار کیا کرتے تھے اور جب پڑھنے بیٹھتے تو پورا      رسالہ ختم کر کے ہی اٹھتے تھے۔ صرف یہی نہیں بلکہ اخبار کا مطالعہ بھی روزانہ کے معمولات میں شامل ہوتا تھا بھلے اس میں صرف ٹارزن کی تصویری کہانی  ہی پڑھیں۔ جب عمر تھوڑی سی زیادہ ہوئی تو کہانیوں کے انتحاب میں بھی تبدیلی ہوئی اور مشہور مصنف اشتیاق احمد کے لکھے ہوئے جاسوسی ناول پڑھنے شروع کیے۔ ساتھ ساتھ ابنِ صفی اور مظہر کلیم کے لکھے ہوئے عمران سیریز کے ناول بھی سیکڑوں کی تعداد میں  پڑھے۔ صرف یہی نہیں  بلکہ دیگر اخبارات اور  رسائل  بشمول  ڈائجسٹوں کے مطالعہ میں شامل رہے۔ یہ مطالعہ تو وہ ہے جو محض تفریحات میں شامل ہے مگر وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ مختلف موضوعات پر کتابوں کے مطالعے کا سلسلہ بھی چل نکلا تھا جن میں سائنس ، ادب، مذہب اور تاریخ شامل تھے جو اب بھی جاری ہے۔ بچپن سے مطالعہ کی عادت جو کہ ہمیں ہمارے بڑوں سے ورثہ میں ملی بڑے ہو کربہت کام آئی اور جب ہی آج بھی کتابوں سے محبت اپنی جگہ برقرار ہے۔

کسی نے ٹھیک ہی کہا ہے کہ کتاب انسان کی بہترین دوست ہوتی ہے۔ مگر یہ سچا دوست آجکل  نا پید ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔ آجکل نوجوانوں کے ہاتھوں میں موبائل فون اور ٹیبلٹ  تو نظر آتے ہیں مگر کتابیں نہیں ۔ انکے لیے تو نصاب کی کتب کو پڑھنا بھی جوئے شیر لانے کے مترادف ہے۔

لائبریریوں کا تو میری نوجوانی کے زمانے میں بھی فقدان تھا اور اب تو کتب خانے تباہی کے دہانے پر ہیں۔ کالج کے زمانے میں اپنے گھر کے قریب ایک کتب خانے جانے کا اتفاق ہو۔ کتب خانے ميں داخل ہونے کے بعد یہ پہلے تو یہ گمان  ہوا کہ غلطی سے کہیں میں کسی کباڑخانے میں تو داخل نہیں ہو گیا ہوں۔ اتنا وحشت زدہ ماحول پہلے کبھی نہیں دیکھا تھا جس کی وجہ سے  ذہین میں یہی سوچ چل رہی تھی کہ لوگ یہاں بیٹھ کر مطالعہ کس طرح کرتے ہوں گے۔ ان مشکالات سے گزرنے کے بعد جب کتابوں کی فہرستوں تک پہنچا تو کافی دیر سر کھپانے کے بعد بھی اپنی مطلوبہ کتب تلاش  نہ کرسکا۔  فہرستوں سے صاف اندازہ ہوتا تھاکہ نئی کتب کی آمد کا سلسلہ عرصہ دراز سے بند ہو چکا ہے۔ اس دن کے بعد سے پھر دوبارہ اس کتب خانے کا رخ کرنے کی ہمت نہ ہوئی۔ یہ بات آج سے کوئی بیس سال پہلے کی ہوگی اور آج نجانے کیا حال ہو چکا ہو گا۔

زمانہء طالب علمی کے گزرنے اور عملی زندگی میں قدم رکھنے کے بعد ایک بار انٹر بورڈ جانا ہوا تو لگے ہاتھوں یہ بھی سوچا کہ یہاں کی لائبریری میں ممبرشپ بھی حاصل کرلی جائے۔ یہ سوچ لے کر اندر داخل ہوا تو دائیں طرف ایک خاتون میز کرسی لگائے بیٹھی تھیں۔  ان کے پاس پہنچ کر میں نے اپنا مدعا بیان کیا کہ  تو  ان کا جواب سن کر میں سٹپٹا کر رہ گیا  کیوں کہ خاتون نے مجھ سے پوچھا تھا کہ میں لائبریری کی  ممبرشپ کیوں حاصل کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ تھوڑی دیر تک ميں خاموشی سے کھڑا رہا اور پھر جواب دیا کہ لائبریری میں لوگ کس کام کےلیے آتے ہیں یہ بات آپ مجھ سے بہتر جانتی ہیں۔ اسکے بعد تو خاتون نے مجھے ممبر شپ فارم تو دے دیا مگر  پوری کوشش کی کہ میں ممبر شپ لیے بغیر ہی وہاں سے چلا جاؤں۔  وجہ اسکی صرف یہ تھی کہ جنتے زیادہ لوگ ممبر شپ حاصل کریں گے تو لائبریرین کے کام میں اتنا ہی زیادہ اصافہ ہو گا۔ یہی وجہ تھی کہ خاتون گنے چنے چند لوگوں کو ممبر شپ دے کر آرام سے میز کرسی لگائے بیٹھیں تھیں اور میں انکے آرام میں مخل ہونے جسارت کر بیٹھا تھا۔

مطالعہ کے فقدان کی ایک بنیادی وجہ مہنگائی میں اصافہ ہے جس کی وجہ سے قارئین کتب کی خریداری سے قاصر ہیں۔ ایک بار ایک کتابوں کی دکان پر صحیح بخاری کا  کئی جلدوں پر مشتمل مکمل مجموعہ دیکھا۔ دل میں خواہش پیدا ہوئی کہ خریدا جائے اور دکاندار سے قیمت معلوم کر بیٹھا اور خود ہی شرمندہ ہو کر واپس آگیا کیونکہ انکی قیمت سینکڑوں  میں نہیں  بلکہ ہزاروں ميں تھی  جو میری استطاعت سے باہر تھی۔ کتب خانوں کی ضرورت اسی وجہ سے ہوتی ہے کہ تمام کتب ہر کسی کی دسترس میں آ سکیں اور ہر خاص و عام ان سے فائدہ اٹھا سکے۔

کراچی کی جتنی آبادی ہے اس کے تناسب میں کتب خانے نہ ہونے کے برابر ہیں اور دیگر شہروں کا بھی حال ایسا ہی ہے اور لوگوں میں کتب بینی کا شوق ویسے ہی معدوم ہو چکا ہے ۔  جن قوموں میں مطالعہ کا فقدان ہوجاتا ہے  انکی ذہنی صلاحیتیں تنزلی کا شکار ہو جاتی ہیں اور وہ کبھی  ترقی کی منازل طے نہیں کر سکتی ہیں۔

کئی لوگ مجھ سے سوال کرتے ہیں کہ بھائی آپ تو مغرب کے  خلاف اتنا  زیادہ  لکھتے ہیں اور آپ تو فیس بک اور یوٹیوب کے اوپر لگنے والی پابندی کے بھی حق میں تھے تو اب آپ خود ہی فیس بک باقاعدگی سے استعمال کرتے ہیں اور گوگل کی دیگر مصنوعات  سے بھی استفادہ حاصل کررہے ہیں تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ آپ کھلی منافقت کر رہے ہیں۔ بظاہر ان کی بات درست بھی معلوم ہوتی ہے کیونکہ میں نے فیس بک پر توہین آمیز خاکوں پر مبنی صفحات کے حوالے سے  زبانی اور تحریری طور پر کافی احتجاج بھی کیا تھا اور میں یوٹیوب کی بندش کا بھی حامی تھا۔

جب فیس بک پر سے پابندی ختم ہوئی تھی تو  کچھ لوگ جو پابندی کے حق میں نہ تھے کیونکہ انکے کچھ "خصوصی روابط" کھٹائی میں پڑ گئے تھے جس کی وجہ سے وہ بن آبی مچھلی کی طرح تڑپ رہے تھے ۔ وہ    لوگ  میری طرف دیکھ کر یا تو طنزیہ مسکرائے یا پھر کھل کر بے شرمی سے ہنسے کہ دیکھو جیت تو ہماری ہی ہوئی اور کچھ ہی دنوں میں فیس بک  کی سائٹ دوبارہ کھل گئی۔  مجھے واقعی اس وقت اپنی ہار کا شدید دکھ تھا کیونکہ فیس بک پر اس وقت بھی توہین آمیز صفحات موجود تھے۔

  مجھے اس بات کا دکھ اور زیادہ شدید تھا کہ ہماری نئی نسل کس دلدل میں دھنستی جا رہی ہے۔ ایک نوجوان سے بات ہوئی تو اس نے کہا کہ میرے تو زیادہ تر کاروباری گاہک فیس بک پر موجود تھے اور اب پابندی کی وجہ سے میں ان سے رابطہ نہیں کر پا رہا ہوں۔ دوسرے نوجوان نے کہا کہ میرے تو یونیورسٹی کے تما م ہم جماعت فیس بک پر تھے اب میں ان سے بات نہیں کر پا رہا۔ غرض ہر کوئی اپنا مدعا پیش کرتا رہا اور میں  یہ سوچتا رہا کہ یا الٰہی کسی کو بھی رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حرمت کا احساس نہیں ہے۔ کسی کے دل میں بھی رسولِ  خدا  صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے تھوڑی سی بھی محبت باقی نہيں رہی ہے۔ حبِ رسول  صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم  کا تو تقاضا  یہ ہے کہ وہ ہمیں  ماں باپ سے بڑھ کر عزیز ہوں مگر نوجوانوں کو تو اپنے کاروباری اور دوستانہ روابط عزیز تھے۔ فیس بک بند ہونے سے تو انکی دنیا ہی اندھیری ہو گئی تھی  کیونکہ جڑے ہوئے دلوں میں دراڑ جو پڑگئی تھی۔ کئی لوگ تو اس بات سے پریشانی کا شکار تھے کہ جن با حیاء خواتین سے وہ پیار کی پینگیں بڑھا رہے تھے انکے تو موبائل نمبر  انکے پاس نہیں تھے اور فیس بک ہی ان کا آخری سہارہ تھا۔

پابندی ہٹنے کے کچھ عرصے بعد میں بھی  فیس بک پر نظر آنے لگا۔  یہ وہ موقع تھا جب  کچھ لوگ حیرت کے سمندر میں غوطے لگاتے رہ گئے، کچھ لوگوں نے مجھے خوش آمدید کہا اور کچھ لوگوں نے پہلے کی طرح اپنی جیت کا جشن منایا کہ دیکھو یہ وہی شخص ہے جو ہمیں منع کرتا تھا آج خود یہاں موجود ہے اور مجھے  "موسمی مولوی"   کا خطاب بھی عطا کردیا گیا۔

گزرتے دنوں کے ساتھ ساتھ مجھے یہ اندازہ ہوا کہ ٹیکنالوجی ایک ایسا سیلاب ہے جس کے آگے بند باندھنا تقریباً    ناممکن ہےمگر نوجوانوں کے ناپختہ ذہنوں کو شعور بخشا جاسکتا ہے۔ ان کو  کم   از کم وہ   راہ   ضرور دکھائی جاسکتی ہے جو ان کو حبِ رسول تک لے جائے یا پھر وہ مغرب کی کارستانیوں سے ضرور آگاہی حاصل کر لیں اور  کم از کم ان کو شعور کی سیڑھیاں چڑھنے کی دعوت ضرور دی جاسکتی ہے۔ انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کے اس دور میں نوجوان معلومات کے سیلاب میں بہتے چلے جارہے ہیں ان کو معلومات اور علم میں تمیز کرنا سکھایا جا سکتا ہے جیسا کہ صحیح بخاری و مسلم سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ علم اٹھالیا جائے گا اور  مسند احمد کی حدیث سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ خط وکتابت اور تحریری مواد کی بہتات ہو گی۔

ان تما م اہداف کو حاصل کرنے کےلیے سماجی میڈیا سےزیادہ آسان اور بہتر پلیٹ فارم مجھے اور کوئی نظر نہیں آیا کیونکہ نوجوانوں کو اکثریت یہاں موجود ہے۔ کیونکہ آج کل نوجوان معلومات کے حصول کے لئے  کتب و رسائل سے زیادہ  انٹرنیٹ پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں۔ اپنے مقاصد کو حاصل کرنے کے لیے میں نے مغرب کا ہتھیار انکے خلاف ہی استعمال کرنے کی منصوبہ بندی کی ۔  جس کا پہلا قدم یہ تھا کہ فیس بک کو  دعوت و تبلیغ کے لیے استعمال کیا جائے۔  میری فیس بک پر آمد کی وجہ یہی تھی اور الحمدللہ آج تک اپنے مشن سےپیچھے نہیں ہٹا۔

مغرب کے ہتھیارکو مغرب کے خلاف استعمال کرنے میں اور انکے بنائے ہوئے پلیٹ فارم پر  ان کو ہی شکست دینے میں   جو مزا ہے  وہ  کسی اور چیز میں مجھے حاصل نہیں ہوتا۔ مگر ڈر بس اس بات کا ہے اکیلے یہ جہاد ميں کب تک کر پاؤں گا۔ نا پائیدار زندگی نجانے کب تک ساتھ دے۔  اس وجہ سے ہر دن کو اپنا آخری دن سمجھ کر زیادہ سے زیادہ محنت کرنے کی کوشش کرتا ہوں کہ مرنے سے پہلے اتنا کر جاؤں کہ نوجوان اس سے کچھ استفادہ حاصل کر سکیں او رمیں انگلی  کٹوا کر شہیدوں میں نام لکھوا لوں۔

The End is near - The modern Pop Culture

Few days ago, I met one of my students wearing a cap. It seems ordinary and usually in the days of summer, people especially students wear caps, but the thing which caught my attention was not his cap but the logo printed on it. That logo was closed to the letter “M” but actually it was not. It was the combination of the Hebrew letter “Vav”.

If we write the letter “Vav” three times, it will seem like a “M” and more interestingly it is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabets. So, I easily concluded that the three times “Vav” means 666, which is actually the Number of Beast (The Antichrist) as mentioned in Bible:

15-And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16-And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads :

17-and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18-Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the  beast : for it is the number of a man ; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

At that time, I knew nothing about this logo but after doing some research, I figure out that it is the logo of an American company called “Monster Beverages Corporation”.  After going through their website, I find out that their aim and ambitions are to promote the modern pop culture. As written on their website:

In short, at Monster all our guys walk the walk in action sports, punk rock music, partying, hangin’ with the girls, and living life on the edge. Monster is way more than an energy drink. Led by our athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is...A lifestyle in a can. 

Not only this, their slogan is also very interesting, which is “Unleash the Beast!” These all things are now getting connected. Monster, 666, The Beast all sign are pointing out to none other than the Antichrist.

So what’s the connection between the Antichrist and the Modern Pop culture? Let’s explore it. A pop culture is something, which is beyond the political boundaries of the world and this modern pop culture is spread by transmitting its contents through mass media like Television, Newspapers, and Internet etc. The target of this new pop culture is mostly the younger people who can easily deceived by the colorful advertisements and glamour. This pop culture includes mostly entertainment like music, acting, movies, and drama including fashion. The people belongs to entertainment industry are usually the Icons and Idols of this modern pop culture. They have a huge fan followings. Their fans, now followers follow everything their Icon do in their life whether it is right or wrong. From hair cut to outfits, they copy their idol in every aspect because the icons are now become the Idols.

Pop/Rock stars are now become Idols all over the world.

People, especially younger generation follow these pop icons blindly and they get nothing from them except moral destruction. The people related to this pop culture, usually entertainment industry are the most controversial people in this world. Their life style is the worst case scenario for anyone. They openly perform adultery, most of them also homosexuals or bisexuals and also they are drug addicts. Drinking alcohol, taking heroin and cocaine and other form of drugs is common in their life style.

Hadhrat Ali Bin Abi Taalib (radhiyallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "When my Ummah indulges in fifteen misdeeds, calamities will settle on them. Among these are singing girls and musical instruments."

Singers and musicians are the important part of today’s pop culture. People indulged with this pop culture argue that music is pure entertainment and universal language of love and their pop icons (Singers, Actors) are spreading the love and happiness to the world. But the truth behind this beautiful lie is so much bitter. World’s Leading female pop singers including Madonna, Lady Gaga, Britney spears, Katy Perry, Rihanna and others are not promoting love and happiness, in fact they are working on the satanic agenda to spread misdeeds and to earn money by whatever it takes. Their songs and videos contain extremely disturbing and misleading ideas including Satanism, homosexuality, fornication, nudity and blasphemy.

The blasphemous ideas are widely propagated through the music industry. Now a days, most of the music videos contain blasphemous contents and humiliation to religion, prophets and God. In these videos, nuns are depicted as prostitutes with revealing clothes. Lady Gaga, the leading female pop icon of today after Madonna is openly promoting homosexuality, adultery and Satanism. One of her song is about falling in love with Judas, the man who betrayed Jesus Christ for some gold coins.

Some music genres including Metal and different variants of it, are purely based on the Satanism. The bands affiliated to this kind of music appeared as some evil beings and their lyrics and music videos are mostly based on satanic rituals and blasphemy to religion and God. These metal bands uses reverse cross symbol to their affiliation to Satanism. The reverse cross they use is an opposite to Christian cross means they are against the God and followers of Antichrist. Their music is so provocative against the religion but they are widely accepted and listened all over the world by the youth, because youth is a soft target for them.

John Lennon, the founder member of the Rock band, The Beatles formed in 1960, was shot dead by a fundamentalist Christian named Mark David Chapman. The reason behind that murder was Lennon's statement published in a magazine In 1980 that "The Beatles were more popular than Jesus". The Beatles were also openly declared disbeliever of God.

Different hand symbols are used to depict the Number of Beast (The Antichrist). By making a zero with first finger and the thumb and left open the rest of the fingers makes three sixes (666). Bending the two middle fingers and left open the rest of the fingers makes the symbol of Bephomet. The Bephomet, a goat headed man is an old deity and the depiction of the Devil. These symbols are common among the pop icons. Reverse pentagram is also used to depict the satanic affiliation and it is also a widely used satanic symbol in today’s Pop culture.

The Skull and bone symbol and the number of the beast (666) are also widely used in music industry. These symbols can be easily identifiable in the music videos and the posters of singers and their album DVD covers. The number of beast (666) is used to fulfill the devilish agenda and to promote the Antichrist.

The Illuminati and Freemasonry symbols are also easily identifiable. The eye of providence enclosed in a triangle is the most controversial symbol widely used in music videos today.

The reversed pentagram sign is widely used by modern day occultist and it is officially used by the The Church of Satan. A Logo is not just a random symbol or design but it has a complete representation of some idea by shapes and colors used in it. But the logo designed for 46th Grammy Awards 2004 is basically a pentagram closely resembles with the satanic one..

One of the signs of End Times is that people will dance late into the night. This is also happening today in almost every corner of the world. Night clubs, Discos and Bars are the meeting place for people to drink, gamble and dance all night long. Musical concerts are usually organized in the evening and cover the whole night.

Nudity is one of the prominent elements of modern pop culture. Revealing clothes are worn by women all over the world in the name of fashion. But modern day female pop stars are going way ahead to revealing clothes to complete nakedness. This is also one of the signs of End Times as quoted in Muslim and in Malik:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Two are the types amongst the denizens of Hell, the one possessing whips like the tail of an ox and they flog people with their help. (The second one) the women who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others with their hair high like humps. These women would not get into Paradise and they would not perceive the odour of Paradise, although its frag- rance can be perceived from such and such distance (from great distance).

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muslim ibn Abi Maryam from Abu Salih that Abu Hurayra said, "Women who are naked even though they are wearing clothes, go astray and make others go astray, and they will not enter the Garden and they will not find its scent, and its scent is experienced from as far as the distance travelled in five hundred years."

These female singers and actors are now wearing clothes transparent enough to reveal all their body including their private parts. They wear these types of clothes openly in public and media propagate them all over the world through Newspapers, Magazines, Television and Internet. It is a shameful act to gain publicity and to become more famous. This shameful act was recently performed by leading female pop icon Rihanna on the occasion of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards at Lincoln Center in New York June 2, 2014. These types of revealing dress also worn by other leading female pop icons including Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.

Madonna, the most famous female singer of all time was also the most controversial person. She simulates masturbation when she performed one of her famous song "Like a virgin" onstage. Lady Gaga and R Kelly also simulated sex onstage. What these singers are promoting with their music is Satanism, nudity, fornication and Adultery.

Men are also begun to wear Silk in various forms like silk necktie and clothes made from different variants of silk. Gold chains are so common among the young people because their pop icons wear gold chains.

As we know that gold and silk is forbidden for Muslim men but the modern pop culture has mesmerized our young generation. As a Muslim we must avoid these non-Islamic traditions in the name of fashion and modernization.

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: 

The Prophet of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) took silk and held it in his right hand, and took gold and held it in his left hand and said: both of these are prohibited to the males of my community.

Modern pop culture and Alcoholism are correlative to each other and inseparable. Everyone in the world knows that alcoholism and intoxicants are harmful and produce diseases and severe damage to our internal organs. Intoxicants damage not only a person’s body but it also damages the morality of our society.  That is why it is prohibited in Islam as mentioned in the following hadith:

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: 

Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever drinks alcoholic drinks in the world and does not repent (before dying), will be deprived of it in the Hereafter."

It is also one of the signs of End Times. Statistics shows that the consumption of alcoholic drinks and other intoxicants is huge in these days. Cocaine is used as fashion and being modern in this pop culture. Almost all the singers and actors are addicted to intoxicants. Jean Claude Van Dame, a leading actor of Hollywood and a renowned action hero was also a drug addict and he gave up his addiction to the drugs after he had a near death experience.

I heard from Allah's Apostle a narration which none other than I will narrate to you. The Prophet, said, "From among the portents of the Hour are the following: General ignorance (in religious affairs) will prevail, (religious) knowledge will decrease, illegal sexual intercourse will prevail, alcoholic drinks will be drunk (in abundance), men will decrease and women will increase so much so that for every fifty women there will be one man to look after them."

What kind of icon are these? And what kind of sick culture is this? Is this called the modernization of the society? I don’t think so. This culture is bringing the total destruction of our society. Muslims are also adopting the modern pop culture rapidly and absorbing its essence either willingly or without knowing it.

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: 

that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

Promoters of this culture indoctrinating the essence of this paranoia by using mass media and the people are accepting it either willingly or subliminally.  Their aims are clear; they want to “unleash the beast” (The Antichrist) by spreading the satanic ideas, culture and life style.

کیا انگریزی ذریعہ تعلیم ہماری ترقی کے لیے ضروری ہے

انگریزی تعلیم کے حوالے سے فرمان نواز صاحب کی تحریر[کیا سائنس کی ترقی ہمارے خلاف ہے] نظر سے گزری جو کہ  ایکسپریس کی ویب سائٹ پر ہفتہ، 14جون کو شائع ہوئی۔ یہ تحریر انکے جذبات کا آئینہ ہے۔ انہوں نے کھل کر اپنے جذبات کا اظہار کیا ہے۔انکی یہ جذباتی تحریر انکی پاکستان اور پاکستانی عوام سے دیرینہ محبت کو ظاہر کرتی ہے مگر انکی سمت تھوڑی سی غلط ہے۔ انگریزی زبان کے جو فوائد انہوں نے گنوائے ہیں ان سے اتفاق کرتا ہوں مگر انگریزی کو ذریعہ تعلیم بنانے سے اختلاف کرتا ہوں۔ اس   اختلاف کو  سمجھنے کے لیے  ہمیں  اقوام کے ماضی اور حال پر نظر ڈالنی ہو گی اور اردو                              زبان کی اہمیت کو سمجھنا ہوگا۔

 دنیا کی کوئی بھی قوم ایسی نہیں ہے جس نے کسی اور زبان میں تعلیم حاصل کر کے ترقی کی ہو۔ آپ کے سامنے پورے یورپ کی مثال موجود ہے۔ کسی بھی یورپی ملک میں انگریزی زبان  کو نہ تو سرکاری حیثیت  حاصل ہے نہ ہی  تعلیمی ۔ وہ تمام مضامین اپنی ہی زبان میں پڑھاتے اور سکھاتے ہیں۔ چین اور جاپان تو ایشیا سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں مگر پھر بھی انکے یہاں ذریعہ تعلیم انگریزی نہیں ہے۔تمام مضامین جن میں سائنس اور انجینیرنگ بھی شامل ہیں وہ اپنی ہی زبان میں پڑھاتے ہیں اور بہترین نتائج بھی حاصل کرتے ہیں۔

 مختلف ممالک میں ملازمت حاصل کرنے کے لیے اگر انگریزی کی ضرورت ہے تو اسکو   درجہ دوم کی زبان کے طور پر با آسانی سیکھا جا سکتا ہے۔  ملازمت یا تعلیم کے حصول کے لیے ہماری آبادی کا بہت ہی زیادہ قلیل حصہ ہی سفر کرکے بیرون ملک جاتا ہے۔   اس بات کو وجہ بنا کر  پورے ملک کا زریعہ تعلیم انگریزی کر دینا کسی صورت بھی مناسب نہیں ہے جبکہ ہمارے ملک کی آبادی کا بہت بڑا حصہ دیہاتوں میں بستا ہے جہاں تعلیمی صورت حال ویسے ہی بڑی خستا ہے ۔ انگریزی محض ایک زبان ہے جو کہ کوئی بھی شخص کچھ ہی مہینوں کی محنت کے بعد با آسانی سیکھ سکتا ہے اور اپنے خیالات کو الفاظ کا جامہ پہنانے کے قابل ہو جاتا ہے۔ اسکے لیے بچوں کو انکی معصومیت کے دنوں میں تختہ مشق بنانا کہاں کی عقلمندی ہے۔

مسلمانوں کے عروج کے زمانے میں یورپی اقوام کے فرد عربی زبان سیکھتے ضرور تھے وہ بھی صرف اس لیے کہ مسلمانوں کے علم سے استفادہ  حاصل کرسکیں مگر اپنے ممالک میں عربی کو ذریعہ تعلیم نہیں بناتے تھے۔آپ تاریخ میں سے کوئی ایک مثال سامنے رکھ دیں جس سے پتہ چلتا ہو کہ مسلمانوں کے عروج کے زمانے میں  کسی یورپی قوم نے عربی کو اپنایا ہو یا  اپنا ذریعہ تعلیم بنایا ہو۔ آج ہم لفظ الجبرہ تو سنتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ عربی لفظ ہے مگر صرف اس نام کے آپ کو ماضی کی  الجبرہ کی کسی کتاب میں عربی نظر نہیں آئے گی جو کسی یورپین حساب دان نے لکھی ہوگی۔ اسپین کا حال تو سب ہی جانتے ہیں، کیاانہوں نے بھی مسلمانوں کے جانے کے بعد عربی کو ذریعہ تعلیم بنایا تھا ؟ یقینا نہیں۔ انہوں نے تو  عربی لباس ، عربی زبان اور عربی ثقافت کا قلع قمع کرنے کی بھرپور کوشش کی، جس میں وہ پوری طرح کامیاب بھی رہے۔ انہوں نے تو مسلمانوں کا علمی زخیرہ تک جلا کر خاکستر کردیاتھا، وہ تمام کتابیں جو عربی زبان میں تھیں چاہے وو مذہبی ہوں یا نہ ہوں صفحہ ہستی سے مٹا ڈالی تھیں۔ اسکے باوجود آج انکا شمار ترقی یافتہ ممالک میں کیا جاتا ہے۔

بابائے قوم محمد علی جناح یقینا ً فر فر انگریزی بولتے تھے لیکن اردو کو قومی اور سرکاری زبان بنانے والے بھی وہ ہی تھے۔ اگر وہ اردو کی اہمیت نہ جانتے ہوتے تو ایسا کبھی نہ کرتے۔ اردو وہ زبان ہے جو پاکستان کے مختلف  علاقوں میں  بسنے والے اور مختلف زبان بولنے والوں مختلف علاقائی ثقافت رکھنے والوں کو  آپس میں جوڑتی ہے۔ اردو جو کہ عربی ، فارسی، ہندی اور کئی زبانوں کا مجموعہ ہے اپنے دامن میں ان سب زبانوں میں موجود علم کو سمیٹے ہوئے ہے اور مزید زبانوں اور ان میں موجود علوم کو خود میں ضم کرنے کی بھر پور صلاحیت رکھتی ہے۔ اس وجہ سے اسکو بولنا اور سیکھنا نہایت آسان ہے۔ اسکا  رسم الخط  بھی عربی پر مشتمل ہے جس سے ایک ایسا شخص بھی واقف ہوتا ہے جو کبھی اسکول ہی نہ گیا ہو کیونکہ ناظرہ قرآن کی تعلیم ہر شخص ہی حاصل کرتا ہے۔ اردو کی بدولت قرآنی عربی سمجھنا  اور آیات کے معنی اور مفہوم سمجھنا انتہائی آسان ہو جاتا ہے۔

مضمون نگار خود  ذہنی طور پر الجھن کا شکار ہیں  اور واضح نہیں کر پارہے کہ کہنا کیا چاھتے ہیں۔ کبھی وہ انگریزی کو ہماری ترقی کا  ذریعہ ثابت کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں اور بعد میں خود ہی لکھتے ہیں کہ ہماری زبوں حالی کی وجہ قدامت پرستی اور بنیاد پرستی ہے زبان نہیں۔ خود ہی  فرماتے ہیں کہ ترقی یافتہ ممالک میں "قومی زبان" کے ساتھ ساتھ ایک  دوسری زبان بھی پڑھائی جاتی ہے لیکن جناب یہاں یہ چاہتے ہیں کہ دوسری زبان کے ساتھ ساتھ قومی زبان بھی پڑھا دی جائے، کیا کریں قومی زبان جو ٹھہری۔ جہاں تک  بات ڈارون کی ہے تو اس پر تفصیل سے آئندہ کبھی لکھوں گا۔ دنیا بھر میں جو لوگ بھی خدا پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں چاہے وہ کسی بھی مذہب سے تعلق رکھتے ہوں انسانی ارتقاء کے نظریے کی مخالفت کر تے ہیں۔ اس نظریے کی شدت سے حمایت صرف دہریے ہی کرتے ہیں۔ اسکی  وجہ صرف یہ ہے کہ اس نظریے کے ذریعے وہ خدا کے وجود کو رد کرنے کی ناکام کوشش کرتے  ہیں۔ محترم،  اگرآپ  صرف نظریہء ارتقاء کو ہی سائنس سمجھتے ہیں اور انگریزی کو سائنس کی زبان سمجھتے ہیں تو آپ سائنس کے حوالے سے انتہائی سطحی معلومات رکھتے ہیں۔ یہ انتہائی غیر منطقی بات ہے کہ سائنس کو کسی ایک زبان کے ساتھ جوڑ دیا جائے۔ انگریزی صرف اور صرف ایک زبان ہے جس  کا ہماری ترقی یا تننرلی سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے۔

میں خود ایک استا د ہوں اور یہ بات جانتا ہوں کہ طالب علموں کو انگریزی کی با نسبت اردو میں سمجھانا نہایت آسان ہوتا ہے۔  اپنی زبان میں جو فہم ایک استاد اپنے طلباء کو دے سکتاہے وہ کسی اجنبی زبان میں ممکن ہی نہیں ہے۔ سائنس کو سیکھنے اور سمجھنے کے لیے انگریزی کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں ہے اگر ضرورت ہے تو اس امر کی ہے کہ تعلیمی اداروں اور تعلیم سے وابستہ اساتذہ اور محکمہء تعلیم سے وابستہ افسران اور ماہرین تعلیم کا معیار  جانچا جائے اور انہیں بہتر کیا جائے۔  تعلیمی پالیسیاں اس طرح تیار کی جائیں کے  کارگر ثابت  ہوں اور بجٹ میں تعلیم کے لیے ایک خطیر رقم مختص کی جائے اور نصاب کی ایک مقررہ وقت پر  تدوین کی جائے اور اس پر نظر ثانی کی جائے اور اسے بین الاقوامی معیا ر سے ہم آہنگ کیا جائے۔ انگریزی کو محض ایک زبان کہ طور پر پڑھا یا جائے۔  اگر یہ اقدامات خلوص نیت کے ساتھ اٹھالیے گئے تو ہمیں ترقی کرنے سے کوئی نہیں روک سکتا ہے۔

Several years ago, when I was quite young, I read a hadith in a book about End Times about the Talking thigh and shoes. I could not understand that what does a talking thigh or talking shoe mean. But now the technology is so evolved that these things are not impossible and Information, Communication and Computer technology has completely changed the world. Now those things are possible which are impossible few years back. GPS system, Wireless internet, Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi and other means of communication and networking to get connected with millions of people around the world are the some examples of great technological change.

There are so many gadgets available made by different companies based on the above mentioned technologies. Everything is smart now, smart phones, smart Tv, smart cars etc.A year ago, I read on the internet that Google has experimentally developed a shoe that talks. It reminded me the Hadith mentioned in Tirmizi as :

It was reported from Abu Sa'id that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, the Hour will not come until wild animals talk to men, and a man speaks to his whip or his shoe, and his thigh will tell him about what happened to his family after he left."

It is also mentioned in another book of Hadith i.e. Ahmed:

It was reported from Abu Sa'id that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) said: "The Hour will not come until the time when a man will leave his home, and his shoes or whip or stick will tell what is happening to his family."

Modern day communication technology has made it possible to make gadgets mentioned in the Hadith. Now a days, every company is trying to make its products "Smart", means to automate them with the computer technology and the products should be controlled with wireless communication technology. Now the shoes are also available that can be connected to your smart phone and generate statistics about your workout and share them on social media. Various companies like Adidas, Nike etc. are developing such smart shoes.

The shoe was an exercise in showing what could be done – ‘an experiment’ in connecting any kind of object to the web and using it to collect and analyse information.

Now lets explore how'd a thigh inform about anyone's family. It was really difficult to understand but when I did some research on the Internet about the latest gadgets, I found the a product called "Thiphone". It is actually a holster that straps your phone to your thigh. The benefit of Thiphone is that your both hands are free to do anything else and you also want to see you phone's screen for text messages and other things.

In the search of smart gadgets, I found another interesting thing called "Smart walking stick" for elderly people developed by Fujitsu, a Japanese company.This may be the stick mentioned in Hadith. This smart walking stick is equipped with all the latest communication technologies like GPS, 3G and WiFi. It has an LED screen which shows the directions and this stick also helps to avoid obstacles. With this stick, elderly people will be connected to their family back at home.

The above described equipment and gadgets are proving the prophecies foretold by the prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) and I am sure, the things described in above mentioned hadith are pointing out the latest communication technology used today. It is the fact that we are living in the era of tribulations and we just have to realize this fact.

Last month i.e. May, I was watching news on TV when I saw a news about a song competition named as Eurovision Song Contest 2014, which is quite normal but the thing that caught my attention is that the winner of the that song competition was a bearded woman named Conchita Wurst. I was startled to saw that.because this was a mega event, contestant came here to participate in this contest from all over the Europe. Amazingly the organizers of the event allowed that bearded and weird looking woman to participate in the contest.

After watching the news, I turned on my computer and did some research about her and I found out that the bearded woman is actually a man disguised him self as woman. His real name is Tom Neuwirth and he is an Austrian singer and openly declared gay.

The above mentioned story reminded me the famous character of Pakistan called "Begum Nawazish Ali". In the same manner as Tom Neuwirth, Ali Saleem was born and raised as a boy but eventually he turnout to be a gay and convert himself as Effeminate man. He also openly declared him self gay and sometimes bisexual.

Eurovision is a European event and they do what ever they want to do but the case of Begum Nawazish Ali was quite surprising. The show hosted by Ali Saleem (Begum Nawazish) was On-Aired by Aaj Tv a Pakistani channel. The interesting part of this program is that it is a serious talk show participated by Politicians, Athletes, Sportsman, Business Tycoons, Social Workers, Showbiz celebrities and many more. All the people participated in his show and no one even criticized him about his guise as a woman. It was the sign of general acceptance of transgenders in Pakistan. He was also welcomed by Indians as he also did the show in the same guise as Begum.

These guys reminded me the things I heard in my childhood by my elders. Something about the effeminate men and Masculine women. My mother told me that the time will come when men will begin to look like women and women will begin to look like men and this will be the sign of the Hour. According to the Hadith narrated by Imam al-Hafidh Abu Na'im bin Abdullah al-Asfahani, it is a sign of End Times:

He(Muhammed - peace be upon him) said: "Approaching the Hour you will find: men imitate women, and women imitate men".

Anyone can say that the Cross-dressing is not a sin and they can by found everywhere in the world and in history. I want to clear that, I am not talking about the people with disabilities by birth or they are born neutered. I am discussing here about the people as normal men and women but represent themselves as opposite sex, including people like cross-dressers and transgenders. According to Islamic teachings, Cross-dressing and being a transgender is prohibited.

The Prophet cursed effeminate men (those men who are in the similitude (assume the manners of women) and those women who assume the manners of men, and he said, "Turn them out of your houses ." The Prophet turned out such-and-such man, and 'Umar turned out such-and-such woman.

It is not only prohibited in Islam but also an omen of End times and it is happening now that these cross-dressers and transgenders are widely accepted by the masses and elites like never before in the history. Many of the famous female models and actresses are actually transgenders. They born as a male but after gender reassignment surgery they became women. There is another interesting things is that, there is beauty contest organized for transgenders. The Miss International Queen is the largest beauty pageant for transgenders from all over the world. This contest has been held every year since 2004 in Thailand. The purpose of this beauty contest is to recognize transgenders and create awareness for their rights all over the world, means to legalized it.

Few months ago, I read a news on social media and other news websites about a US Navy Seal veteran, Chris Beck that he is now living the life of a woman after retiring from the Navy. He served in special forces as Senior Chief, twice married and has two sons.

It was quite amazing that a person severed in the toughest war zones like Afghanistan and Iraq as a member of Special Forces unit commando ultimately turned into a woman. Not only him, there are so many examples of transgenders you can find on the Internet. These men are suffered by the psychological disorder like Homosexuals but transgenders are widely accepted just like the Homosexuals. Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) prohibited even to dress like opposite gender but the people now a days are transforming themselves into opposite sex biologically by hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgery.

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) cursed the man who dressed like a woman and the woman who dressed like a man.

Thomas Trace Beatie, a transgender activist is famous as "The Pregnant Man" when a documentary was telecast via Discovery Channel in 2008. Thomas Beatie was actually born and raised as a girl named Tracy Lehuanani LaGondino. But eventually became a man by hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgery. He decided to become pregnant when he finds out that his wife is infertile.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: 

Ibn AbuMulaykah told that when someone remarked to Aisha that a woman was wearing sandals, she replied: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) cursed mannish women.

Anyone can easily observe that now the women are imitating men in every aspect, from dresses to foot-ware and men imitating women by wear silk and gold which is prohibited in Islam for men. These are all signs which are foretold by Prophet (peace be upon him) and mentioned in various books of Hadith. This is the time of great afflictions and tribulations but people laugh at me when I tried to convince them. They just want to cover their eyes and minds and want to live in the dream world. The signs are everywhere, you just have to look around and realize the fact that “The end is near”.

There are many signs of End times mentioned in the various books of Hadith, some of them have been passed and some of them are yet to come. Now a days, every aware person can easily find the sign everywhere with every passing day. I brought up in a moderate Muslim family but my parents and my grandparents told us about the Antichrist and the tribulations of the coming days in bits and pieces. One of them was about the Sky scrapers as the sign of End times.  Now, I am witnessing the sign that was told by my parents when I was just a kid.

Few days ago, I read an article on a news website about a building called “Kingdom Tower”. That building will be constructed by Saudi government in the period of four years (2018).

The total estimated cost to build the Kingdom Tower is $1.23 billion (USD) and It will be the tallest building ever constructed in the world (1000 m). This news reminded me a hadith written in Sahih Bukhari:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, "When will the Hour be established?" Allah's Apostle replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents. 

1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master. 

2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.

Now the Arab nations are competing with each other to build the skyscrapers. The shepherds of black camels are now the owner of the world’s best luxurious hotels like Burj Al Arab and the world’s tallest buildings. Burj Kalifa is tallest building (828 m) ever built so far is situated in Dubai. In 2012, Saudis constructed the “The Makkah Royal Clock tower” hotel (601 m), which was the second highest skyscraper in the world in 2012 (Now the third highest) and now they are competing with UAE and constructing the 1007 m tall “The Kingdom Tower” at Jeddah. The race for reaching for the skies by constructing the skyscrapers has begun.

When I saw pictures of Makkah clock tower few years back on the Internet, I was totally amazed and speechless because I never thought that I will see the prophecies of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) with my own eyes. The signs are now clearly visible to us.

Narrated Sayyidn'a Abdullah bin Umar: 

When the belly of Makkah will be cleft open and through it will be dug out river-like passages (i.e. tunnels) and the buildings of the Holy City of Makkah will rise higher than its mountains, when you observe these signs, then understand that the time of trial(Judgment day) is near at hand

Above mentioned Hadith was not understandable few years ago. But now, every word of the Hadith is fully understandable to us. From dusty port towns to wealthy and luxurious cities, UAE and other Arab countries reached the height of advancement in few years when oil was discovered in the Gulf. As mentioned in Sahih Muslim's hadith:

Abdullah ibn Umar said: My father, Umar ibn al-Khattab, told me: One day we were sitting in the company of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) when there appeared before us a man dressed in pure white clothes, his hair extraordinarily black. There were no signs of travel on him. None amongst us recognized him. At last he sat with the Apostle (peace be upon him) He knelt before him placed his palms on his thighs and said: Inform me about the hour (of the Doom). He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: One who is asked knows no more than the one who is inquiring (about it). He (the inquirer) said: Tell me some of its indications. He (the Holy Prophet) said: That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and master, that you will find barefooted, destitute goat-herds vying with one another in the construction of magnificent buildings.

Narrated Abu Huraira: 

Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings".

• One World Trade Centre, USA (541.3 m) constructed in 2013
• Taipei 101, Taiwan (509 m) constructed in  2004
• International Commerce Centre, Hong Kong  (484 m) constructed in 2010
• Petronas Tower, Malaysia (452) constructed in 1998
• Al Hamra Firdous Tower, Kuwait (413 m) constructed in 2011

Construction of Skyscraper in Middle East is the most visible sign of the End times.The signs are everywhere, you just have to look around and realize the fact that “The end is near”.
